Bed Bugs
Small, flat, and hard to spot until they've settled in. Catching them early makes treatment much easier.
Identification
Small, flat, reddish-brown, roughly the size of an apple seed. They don't fly or jump, and travel by hitchhiking on luggage, furniture, and clothing.
Habitat
Mattress seams, box springs, headboards, and nearby furniture, close to where people sleep.
Why They're A Risk
Bites cause discomfort and disrupted sleep, and populations grow quickly once established in a bedroom.
Signs To Watch For
Bites in a line on skin uncovered overnight, rust-colored stains on sheets, and shed skins along the mattress seams.
